RF Planning / Optimization Tool Product Support Engineer #815/WF/05-2022
You will work with major players in the wireless industry such as Verizon, AT&T, Qualcomm, etc. and be a part of cutting-edge technology advances such as Automation, Cloud-Native, 5G, LTE, In-Building and Small Cells.
We are looking for a support engineer for a RF planning and optimization software. Main responsibilities will be:
· Provide technical support and education to existing customers
· Answer inquiries regarding product use and concerns to resolve customer issues
· Be an integral part of the team by acting as a brand ambassador to existing customers
· Employ company procedures to escalate concerns regarding software in order to trouble shoot and resolve obstacles
· Remain well-informed of product developments and knowledgeable of updates within the field

Requirements
We are looking for (MSEE) candidates, motivated professionals with strong wireless telecommunications background and 3+ year experience with RF planning & optimization software products (Atoll, Asset or Planet). Excellent customer service skills, quick learners, self-motivated, attention to detail and exceptional analytical problem-solving skills are preferred. Ability to travel occasionally to provide on-site support/training. Ability to perform shift work on a rotational basis (between 7am and 7pm Monday-Friday).
The position is based downtown Chicago, IL.
Employment Type: Full-time.

Main responsibilities will be:

Demonstrate products and provide pre-sale support to existing and potential customers

Respond to prospects and customers to discuss questions about product features and offer technical assistance in their decision-making process

Manage the technical aspects of a portfolio of customers and prospects by establishing and maintaining positive customer relationships

Use technical knowledge of product offerings to support and build sales

Provide technical mentoring and/or training to existing customers via remote and/or onsite

Respond to RFPs

Remain well-informed of product developments and knowledgeable of updates within the field

Responds to first-line HR questions from employees, managers, HR staff, and payroll
Manages various administrative tasks such as unemployment compensation, coordinating training materials, data input for HRIS, ad-hoc report creation and data analysis
Backs up other HR Specialists and Cross-train in various areas of human resources to maximize staff flexibility
Ensures compliance with all appropriate federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred, three years plus xperience in a management or lead service delivery capacity required; or any equivalent combination of related training/education and experience required. Experience working with information systems and related data in a customer service capacity strongly recommended.
